So you’re ready to jump on the white interior train but you’re about to give up after the 37 paint samples you’ve already tried! We totally get it, we’ve been there. So we did our research and found the jack pot of white paint colours. Here is some insight on each of these hues according to the experts themselves:
Alabaster – a soft neutral off white that is the perfect, calming white for the bedrooms
Chantilly Lace – the perfect bright white with minimal undertones if you’re looking for this style
Swiss Coffee – a great option for more traditional spaces and plays well with other creamy tones and golden hues
Simply White – this is the colour they used on almost everything – cabinetry, trim, ceilings, etc. It was named colour of the year in 2015 but still seems to be that perfect shade of white today
White Dove – this shade has more gray undertones but also feels calm without any yellowness to it
White flour – while it’s actually a very light shade of brown, it reflects a clean, creamy white that’s perfect for open concept spaces Wondering where to start? I would pick up a sample of the ones that sound like they would fit your space best. If you tend to like a more clean/modern aesthetic, start with the crisp/soft whites. If you lean a bit more traditional, try the soft/warm whites. Happy painting!
